Maintenance Information and Staff

Valley Park Estates employs a maintenance staff responsible for maintaining the common areas, preventive maintenance, and to perform co-op related repairs. Whereas not all maintenance repairs inside your apartment are covered by the co-op, Valley Park Estates does provide maintenance repair service to Shareholders. The hourly rate for non co-op related repairs is $50.00 per hour with a half hour minimum at $25.00. Most repairs
are completed in under 30 minutes.

 

After-hour service calls that are not co-op related (i.e. toilet stoppages, lock outs), will be billed 2-1/2 times the hourly rate with a minimum of one hour. As such, you will incur a charge of a minimum one hundred and
twenty-five dollars ($125.00) per hour. This is in addition to any materials used and sales tax. After-hour maintenance calls will be handled up until 10:00 PM. 

 

After hours (5:00 PM – 8:00 AM), the Maintenance number 516-285-6501 serves as an emergency telephone number. It is important that you leave your name, address, phone number, and the nature of the emergency. This service will automatically page the Resident Manager. For this reason, please do not call this number after hours unless there is a true emergency. Additionally, please note that a lockout is NOT considered an emergency, and therefore lock outs after 10:00 PM will not be responded to.
